Frequently asked questions
What makes Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress different from standard latex beds?
It uses four certified organic Dunlop latex layers with two middle layers that can be set to firm, medium, or soft, plus a supportive base and a soft top. Each latex layer is individually wrapped to reduce friction and movement transfer.
What is it made of and what does that mean for daily use?
The mattress layers are organic Dunlop latex with a quilted organic cotton cover and wool filling. This composition supports pressure relief, temperature regulation, and a natural flame-resistant feel, while the wool and cotton combination aids comfort across seasons.
How does this mattress fit with other products in the category, like foundations or bases?
It is compatible with adjustable bases, and optional accessories include a matching hardwood slatted foundation for added support.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might not be ideal?
It’s suitable for all body types and sleeping positions and can be customized for different sleepers on larger sizes. If you prefer a non-customizable firmness or an entirely firm surface, you may want to compare other options.
How do I set it up or adjust the firmness for the first use?
In queen and king sizes, the two middle layers are adjustable to firm, medium, or soft to tailor support. After unboxing, install it on a suitable foundation or adjustable base and select your preferred middle-layer firmness.
What care or maintenance does it need to stay fresh?
Keep the organic cotton cover clean and allow natural airflow. The latex layers are individually wrapped for reduced friction, which helps minimize movement and wear over time.
